ICTSI Madagascar unit buys 4 new RTGs [Seaport]
International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) African unit, Madagascar International Container Terminal Services Ltd. (MICTSL), has taken delivery of four new rubber tired gantries (RTGs) for the Madagascar International Container Terminal.
Acquired from Noell Crane Systems, the new RTGs feature high capacity and performance with low maintenance and user friendly operation.
The equipment’s one over five stacking capability enables high capacity stacking in the container yard. Operational performance is optimized through the incorporation of design features such as a fully electric trolley system with high efficiency electric winches, anti-sway and electric jacks trim to provide precision skew and auto-steering. These are supported by a differential global positioning system operating in conjunction with a local area network.
